Bon Appetit!

We are busy people, us moms, but we want to eat and feed our family healthy meals.  Who has the time?  Meals don't have to be an all day prep session, there are a lot of great ideas.  I will be sharing some old go to meals and on the look out for new ones.  Bon appetit! 



Cream of Broccoli and Cheese Soup

1/2 c. minced onion
2 T.   butter

Saute until onions are brown.  Add:

1 c.  chicken broth
3 c.  chopped broccoli

Simmer for 12 minutes

Mix together:

1/4 c.  flour with
21/2 c.  milk

Whisk together and add slowly to the chicken broth.  Cooking until soup starts to thicken.

Add:

1 1/2 c.  sharp cheddar cheese grated

Stir until melted

Add salt and pepper.  Garnish with croutons.

This soup is so easy!  Hearty enough to be a full meal in a bowl.  Enjoy
